Can Chronic Urethra Burn for last several months be herpes?

I've had unprotected sex with the same person since around September.  In November,  I started having a constant burning sensation I'm my urethra. It's more annoying and uncomfortable than painful,  but it does burn. I don't have an sores or legions.

I was tested for GC Chlamydia,  HIV 1&2 and Hepatitis C. All came back normal.

Also had a CBC done,  which was also normal. My only real symptoms are the burning in my urethra.

The person I was with had full STD test and Herpes test done and all came back normal.

The Internet is a scary place when you have these symptoms and most point to HSV2,  with the exception of how long it lasts. I've had this issue continuously since November,  so I would think if it was herpes,  I would have had relief by now.

Thanks in advance.

Definitely not hsv. Symptoms lasted to look good and lesions in the urethra is extremely painful. You would have lesions outside as well.

Thanks for the reply. Kinda what I figured,  but everything online leads to hsv,  but doesn't give a lot of detail on time frame.  Appreciate it!
