Can Herpes Be Spread Anyway Shape Or Form Through Fingers?

I have genital herpes, if i had another woman finger me, would that person get herpes also? In anyway at all, just from touching with hands?

My bad luck then since it doesnt happen often but can....oh well. My Dr said it could have been transferred that way from not wearing protective gloves while careing for the elderly man with cleaning himself because he couldnt get to the bathroom and it was all over the house before i was aware and exposed myself. I did not know what his sores were when helping him clean/bath I was just helping a local elderly man during a time of crisis in our community with out electric due to icestorms this last winter. Anyways it really doesnt matter now whats done is done and I have to live with it. and wont ever help anyone again with out gloves like drs wear... if I ever feel the need to volunteer again. My husband is all against that for sure. I wish you all luck sincerly.

also I didn't say you couldn't get it, I just said it doesn't often happen there.

I really don't think that the scenario that you think got you herpes really did.  You will not get herpes on your foot from being barefoot at someone's house.  I think herpes was probably a part of this relationship long before you think it was and you just didn't know it until you got obvious symptoms.

I have had blood type confirmation of herpes 2. My first breakout tho was on my foot. I didnt know what it was and thought it was a spider bite and it itched and i was constantly scratching it and digging at it to figure out what was really going on. I went to the dr of course and he didnt know what it was. Then It transferred to my finger that i was using on it scratching and digging to try to clear it up still not knowing it was herpes.but after having sex i clean my self out in the bath with my fingers and next thing i knew i had severe sores there and went back to the dr and showed him my finger that had the sores first that then showed in my other privates and he did a full exam and blood work up which confirmed it was all herpes 2. so i inheriantly transferred it all from my foot to my finger to my privates which then after having sex with the hubby transferred it all to him.Im totally afraid of scratching my allergies in my eyes afraid of transferring it there too. this is a nightmare. so much for visiting the elderly man that was sick with god knows what all and kicking off my shoes in his filthy house on the couch and tip toeing through the trash and bodily fluids helping him when he was so sick and couldnt take care of himself. I have no idea what all i exposed myself to but this is just horrifying to live with the rest of my life. i never know when it will break out again and am scared of my self . i hate this.  so to concerned 0057 YES u can transfer herpes through fingers if any partner is broke out with the virus. it sucks. and whats worse is i can control my symtoms a little with the valtex, while my husbands is always breaking out and it makes me feel so sad. since he was a total innocent party.

What if the person fingers you then touches themselves within minutes?

you can get herpes on the hands but it doesn't happen very often.
