Can Herpes cause high ESR & CRP?

I was diagnosed with HSV2 4 years ago (and have HPV type 18).  Since then, I have had high ESR & CRP labs.  Both have been re-run several times and aren't changing.  Could these labs be high because of the HSV and/or HPV?  I have no other general health symptoms and don't know if I should be looking for other causes or if this is the most likely cause.  Is there something I can do to lower my ESR & CRP levels?

not sure why they are even checking these in you but it's something that needs continued follow up on with your provider.  I'm guessing you have other issues going on that you had these 2 tests done in the first place - am I right?

In theory, since herpes is an inflammatory process, it could increase both a bit when you had an active ob going on but it shouldn't be causing them to be elevated consistantly.  same with hpv wouldn't keep them elevated all the time either.
