Can herpes simplex affect one eye

I have only i bump on the side of the top of the crack of my butt,dr did a culture called me told me its herpes simplex virus and told me to take valtrex i took 1 pill last night and this morning i feel kinda wierd like my right eye is all messed up and side of my face feels burning i also feel nauseated and very dizzy.im afraid to take more of the med as im home alone,i have bad anxiety..i feel kinda like i might pass out the nursr told me yestrday if im scared o fthe med not to take it as the herpes will go away or back dormant i dont understand it or how i got it or what kind it is...i read where valtrex can cause confusion....i know i proberly need the med but am afraid to take it....could i have herpes on the inside of my body also...i have been overly stressed every since they called and told me i have herpes and i dont know what kind it is,,,any advice or informanmation would be great..Thanks

call the dr. who did culture for positive herpes & find out if this outbreak is hsv1 (oral )or hsv2  (gential ).  valtrex side efects are minor . take valtrex at night & u will not feel the side effects  . keep your hands away from your eyes !!!!!! always wash your hands well after any contact w/ gential or anus . herpes can spread to eyes if carried to the eyes my your hands, just try to settle down & deal w/ this problem because herpes cannot be cured . herpes comes & goes !! but no real health risk !!!  pisky !!!!  take care ,rt
