Can i get herpes with a short kiss

I was kissed (or licked) by a prostitute on my lower back for just a second. She did it suddenly and i didnt expect that. I immediately washed the area with sterilium and alcohol. I didn't see any visible lesions on her skin at that time. But 14 days after the incident i developed 2 small reddish lesions with pus in one of them on the area she had kissed. There was very mild pain but tingling sensation was definitely there. My question is if i can get herpes with such a short kiss if she had herpes.

washing up after contact doesn't protect you from anything.

this was not a risk for you anyways. odds are your rash is not std related at all. see your provider for a proper work up to determine what is going on.

thanks grace... What if she had asymptomatic shedding at that time..

this still isn't a risk. even if she had an obvious cold sore on her lips when she did this, the risk would be far too low to worry about. the skin on our backs/backsides is thick and doesn't infect easily as well as this was incredibly minimal contact.
