Can i get type 2 herpes this way?

I took an std test 6 months ago. I was positive for type 1 herpes only at that time. Type 2 was negative. Now on jan 16th when i tested it tested positive for type 2. I never have had any signs or symtems for type 1 or 2 herpes. The only reason i tested was i wanted to  sleeping with a new partner and wanted to make sure i was std free. Ok now here are a few of my questions to which im confused about.

Ok i have a regular partner that i have sex with. I have been having sex with him for about a year now.And yes we have been having sex without condoms.I feel stupid for doing that now. Like i said i would say in june of 08 is when i took my first std test. Is it possible sense i have herpes type 1 that i passed this on while giving him a ********? Then when we had sex he passed type 2 onto my vagina?Now keep in mind i have had no signs or symtems for either of type 1 or 2 herpes. Now i have heard that type 1 herpes stays type 1 and type 2 stays type 2. I have heard though if u have oral sex with a guy and like if a girl has type 1 and i believe she has to have an outbreak first to pass it onto his **** & then then that type 1 herpes that went from mouth to his penis now turns into type 2? DId it turn type 2 cuase it switched locations or how does that work.

I thought no matter how hard u tried type 1 is type 1 and type 2 is type 2. I know that u can get type 2 on your genitals and mouth and the same with type 1 u can get that on your mouth or genitals to.

I was diagnosed with type 2 herpes about 2 weeks. I think ive become very knowledgeable on this subject thank god! Basicly this is the only part of where i am confused on passing it. Or with type 1 changing into 2.

I can best help you if you post your actual hsv test results - ie hsv1 igg 4. 8 and hsv2 igg . 34 or whatever they are.

has your partner been tested to know his status?

hsv1 always stays hsv1 regardless of location - it can never turn into hsv2 ( and vice versa ).

My HSV 1 was 6.31 and my gf's type 2 was 3.99
so can i get type 2 from her
