Can meds affect results

Hi so I know there are a lot of questions on the topic but this is my story. I went to Mexico to get tested for stds (on june 1, 2012) because I had a genital wart and was not sure what it was at the time all tests were negative except for hpv and hsv 2. For hpv I had type 11 and for hsv 2 I had positive 1.3. Shortly after my doctor prescribed acyclovir 200mg 4x a day. I was reading however that having no symptoms for hsv and having such low results it was advices to get retested although having genital warts I thought that was one manifestation of the hsv virus so I got retested for all std at planned parenthood and my test results came back as negative for hsv 2 I asked the nurse what kind of test and the number of my results and she told me that the test was igg (which was also the one from Mexico) and that the number was .24 I had been taking acyclovir every other day (one day yes the next no) and only once so daily only took 200mg because I had no symptoms and was tired of taking meds. To add to all this I had been applying aldara which worked great because I've been wart free for about 1 month and haven't had recurrence. My question is should I retest for hsv (btw hsv 1 was negative) and did the low dosage of acyclovir affect my results as false negative I'm really confused that's for reading!!!!
