Can my brother get herpes from me?

I have had HSV2 since 07. Within the past 2 years, I have noticed a cluster of bumps on my lower leg as well. It is my assumption that it is also HSV2. BUT just within the last week, my little brother (age8) has developed a rash like look on his legs, that look like clusters as well. The doctor said it looked like shingles, but was def. not shingles cuz he hasn't had chickenpox... Im starting to worry that I passed it onto him somehow.... He has problems with ecxema though, so could it actually be that? Please help :(

Chances are you didn't but if the rash was staph you could have given that to him.  But your mother needs to take him to the doctor and have them investigate it a little further.

Why don't you have a blood test done for your brother?  Maybe it's something else.
