Can sharp sting at Penis tip be Herpes?

Hi All,
Had a one off unprotected sex encounter. Unknown what her health was like, accept following the brief encounter she had a rather unpleasant smell and maybe some dark discharge.

For 5 weeks I had a little sharp sensation at the tip of penis when urinating. Sometimes felt like a slight burn. I wouldn’t describe as painful, but I can feel it. When not urinating sometimes a would feel a sharp sensation at the tip. At one point it felt like I was leaking at the end, I would check but all dry. Strange feeling. This all subsided in week 4. Now in week 5 I have felt a little sharp burn again at the tip. Now and then I've been a little red around the glans. I've used Canisten cream to help with that.

I also developed some small flesh coloured spots on the penis glans which the doctor said did not look abnormal at all. They have just stayed there for about 3 weeks, not grown. I wondered if this was a result of either the bacteria or all the antibiotics I had been on. But they’re still there.

In the case of a possible Urine Infection the Dr prescribed Ciproflaxicin first. No improvement, had blood and urine culture sample taken and prescribed Nitrofurantoin. No real immediate difference but then the symptoms subsided in week 4 anyhow. Urine & blood tests were all clear.

Also, Negative for Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Syphilis, HIV. I also took Doxycycline and then Azithromycin prior to getting negative results in case it was Chlamydia or Gonorrhoea, and Metronidazole in case of Trich.

No discharge
No tingling
No sores
No flu like symptoms
No testicular pain

I'm just wondering now if this could be simply a herpes symptom? I am hopefully going for a test today, i know it's 5 weeks but hoping for some indication.

Thank you in advance for any advice.

What you describe is not how herpes acts at all. Herpes does not present this way and wont last like you describe.
