Can this be herpes

Exactly a week ago I gave unprotected oral sex to someone, and he also gave the same to me. He said he was std free but I'm not really sure. Two days after that day I started having tingling sensations that over time felt like it was in my feet, legs, fingers and toes. Yesturday before I went to bed I also started experiencing chills. I'm always checking my lips to see if any thing has changed and I see nothing different. I also checked my genitals and nothing looks different down there either. Could my symptoms be herpes related?

these are very vague symptoms that are more likely to be due to something non-std related than to herpes or any other std.
