Can you have dormant herpes on your lips?

Two part question, 1) I notice these pimples like clusters on my lips, not around my lips or my mouth, but on my lips. I have had one or two cold sores about 20 years ago. The clusters don't do anything but the single pimple like ones if I start to mess with them they will release a white thick fluid like a pimple, is just a pimple or is it herpes? I don't get sores in my mouth. And the symptoms sound like the allergy symptoms that I get.  2) I have had two boyfriends from my past who use to get cold sores a week or two after performing oral sex on me, did I cause that or is it something else?

You should get them looked at. Did they get cold sores before you started dating them?
