Can you help me interpret my HSV test results?

Herpes Simplex 1 IGG - Positive
Herpes VIR. II ABS - 0.12
HSV TYPE I/II IGM AB - 4.27

It is clear that I am positive for HSV 1. However I am not sure about HSV 2. Thanks in advance.

Yes, it means herpes virus 2 antibodies. You should find out the value for the 1 as maybe a false positive.

When it says "Herpes VIR. II ABS". Is that number based on the IGG ratio numbers? So less then .9 would be negative? I'm sorry but they just didnt list what would be positive or negative on the result. What I posted is all I am working with.

Hi, it means positive  for hsv1 only. The third is a combination as well as a igm which are not used.
