Can you pass HSV I from Genitals to mouth

I have had HSV 1 genitally for 10 years, caught from my partners cold sore. I have had very few outbreaks, about 3 over this period. What is the likelihood I could pass this to a new partner "orally" if he were to give me oral sex? I understand that there is a small chance of him getting it genitally but have found no answer to my question of whether he could get it on it mouth? Thanks so much

You can potentially transmit hsv1 to the oral area or the genital area of your partner.  It's not a higher risk of transmitting it orally though just because it prefers that area in general.

Has your partner been tested to know his status?
