Casually Devestated

Hello,
I was just diagnosed with HSV1 and 2, and wasn't given much info about it. I know what it is but don't know what to do if I get an outbreak. I was also informed that I could have had it for a long time and it could have lied dormant. I was wondering if so how could I keep it dormant and what happens if I want to have more children. I have two boys so far and was not diagnosed before. I was also wondering even in it's dormant state could I pass it on to my husband? I am obviously in need of some serious guidence, your answers are much appreciated.

I'm going to assume that you had a type specific herpes igg blood test done? if so, can you call and get the actual numeric results to post for me to look at?  All I need to see are the actual results - e.g. hsv1 igg 7.8 and hsv2 igg 2.3 or whatever they are. I can better help you once I see those.

also husband will need tested to know his status.

hard for me to tell you what to post if nothing on your paper says "igg" to make it easy for you to know what to post :(

what about HGB?

call where you were tested at today and ask them to read you your herpes results so that you can tell what on your papers are herpes related and what the results are.
