Of course I have. She is pretty sure she is negative, but cannot remember looking at it specifically. She took a test a 3-4 days ago, and the results should be back today or tomorrow. Wait and see I guess.
How much protection do you think a positive hsv1 status will give her against contracting it in the genital area?
At this point nothing you can do but wait. If she contracted hsv1 genitally from you, symptoms will occur within 2-20 days post encounter. No symptoms, no more reason to worry from that encounter. If she has hsv1 already, odds of her contracting hsv1 genitally later on are incredibly low.
Has she ever been tested to know her own hsv1 status?

It has been 8 days so far and nothing yet. How long does it usually pass before the first outbreak if she has contracted it from me?
