Chronic severe leg pains!!

I need some serious answers here if anyone could help.  I was diagnosed with hsv1, I take valtrex 5o0 mg daily and I know I take l-lysine 1250 mg daily.  I know the studies dont prove that l-lysine is effective in heroes ob, but I take it for peace of mind or maybe even a mind thing.  Anyway, now to my question.  For the last 7 days my legs have hurt my so bad that I am only sleeping 3-4 hours a night and that is with me taking 100mg ibuprofen nightly.  After those hours of sleep the pain starts and I am up all night.  I am not seeing any visible signs of an outbreak on my genitals and went to my Family Doc on Thursday he took blood, Chem profile, CBC and a Sed rate and all came back normal.  Now I had my primary outbreak December 27 last year, WHY would I all of a sudden get this chronic leg pain with no outbreak and should'nt the suppressive therapy of valtrex stop this virus(if it is the virus causing these pains for so long) from causing this???  Or could it be the Valtrex itself causing this side effect??  I thought I was doing so well emotionally these past 8 weeks or so and now this pain just put me right back to square one, feeling pretty bad and a wreck emotionally.  I am so fatigued from lack of sleep it really has me in a tailspin.  Oh , one other thing I have no back pain or buttox pain in my sciatic nerve, just my thighs front and back and my calfs front and back on both legs.
