Clear Blisters that itch on buttocks

Hey Doc,

For the past two years I have had a area on my buttocks that will get really red about the size of a 50 cent piece and have blisters that have clear liquid in them. They will pop and itch very bad. The area will clear with hydrocortozone and scab up. It will reappear about once or twice a year. Seems to be in the winter time. Does this sounds like herpes?

You've never been seen for this? I'd say high time to do so after two years. Hydrocortisone won't clear herpes - see a doctor/dermatologist when symptomatic for a proper exam.
