Clinical trials/ research

Does anyone know the point of progress in a cure for GHSV[-1]?

Does anyone know of reputable clinical trials anywhere in the world?

Do experts have a guesstimate as to when a 1) there will be a cure and 2) there will be a vaccine for a) women b) men?

a lack of obvious lesions doesn't mean a lack of viral shedding though. Studies have shown that even when you aren't getting obvious lesions, you are still shedding the virus. none of the supplements you have been using have been tested to see if they have any effect at all on viral shedding.  If you are in a relationship with a hsv2 negative partner, viral shedding is far more important to think about than obvious lesions.

we can treat herpes but we can not cure it.

thank you for explaining the z issue too :)

actually the arginine /lysine theory with herpes was disproven a long time ago. there is no reason to alter your diet for herpes. they are actually even using arginine to treat herpes in studies now.

most of the other supplements you have listed have not been found to have any real  effect on herpes either.

when i waz treated, doctor zaid that thiz viruz, even you took medication it would only make the viruz ztopped their activity, it would not kill them, they're ztill alive, hiding, untill the condition iz appropiate for them to come back n active. it iz a zad fact that we have to accept then you can go on with the right movement. i ever had zevere condition that lazt for weekz or monthz i cant remember, waz zpent to hozpital and the worzt iz, i never had zex zo how could i get thiz dizeaze. that waz one thing i could not take that time. but i heard that thiz dizeaze happenz to anybody it likez....doez not care
well, to be able to treat it you have to know what cauze it. if you browze through internet, you will find out that there are natural remediez for thiz zymptomz, there are two kindz of amino acid that haz big influence to the viruz. one iz L-ariginine, thiz iz what the viruz likez, and the other iz L-lysine, the one that viruz hatez. you will need to have high amount of L-lysine in your diet and low of L-ariginine. thiz iz what i've been doing. and if you are not zure how much you have been taking, you can get from pharmacizt. in label it zaid itz for cold zorez but it will work for type 2 too. i waz taking thiz untill i realize that conzuming thiz too much will cauze bladder and kidney problem zo i really keep my diet and zearched for other remediez. there are zt.johnz worthz, zuper carotene (from dunaniella zalina: thiz one worked too), lemon balm,,,etc the bezt i ever found iz olive leaf extract, it iz really ztrong antiviral, antifungal and antibiotic agent. i zuggezt you taking thiz for precaution. if you're having outbreak, you need antiviral therapy to beat it becauze what thiz olive leaf extract doez, iz by zecluding it and limit itz activity and weaken it little by little. i never thought that i could be free zo long. but the bezt medicine iz juzt keep pozitive thinking, if the viruz knew you're zcared of it, it iz eazy for it to come back. believe you can beat it :)

no vaccines in the works at this time.

no promising cures at this point either. even though that sounds depressing, we don't have cures for any viruses at all yet.
