Cold Sores in the nose

I have something that feels weird in my nose and I think it could be a cold sore. I cant see it though to tell or not.
my question is, are cold sores in the nose contagious during kissing or oral sex?
since it is in my nose, the infected area and cold sore will not come in contact with any other body part but I just dont know.
