Cold sore fear!

I had an encounter with a man who looked like he had a cold sore by the side of his lip. We kissed briefly (no tongue), but now I am worried!

Could I have gotten herpes if he had it from light kissing no tongue??

have you ever been tested to know your own herpes status?

statistically 1 out of every 2-3 people you've ever kissed in a lifetime has had hsv1 orally. it's incredibly common.

yes kissing can transmit oral herpes.  you don't need tongue - you just need direct skin on skin contact and some friction.
