Cold sores on lip.

As far as I know I have always had cold sores on my lip. Are ALL cold sores HSV or are there different kinds of cold sores? If HSV why has my long term partner never contracted through kissing. We don't do oral sex. Is this easier to catch from oral cold sores?

I have been suffering with cold sores for years now. Through google searching I came across some effective home remedies for cold sores so far Vanilla oil extracts and Supplement E helped me reduce my cold sores.

Oh absolutely. Well over half the adult population has hsv1.

Cold sores are hsv. Not everyone will get hsv or show symptoms. I would have a igg blood test to see if you have hsv
