Concerned about cut?

So I made a terrible decision two days ago to have sex (protected) with a sex worker. Woke up the next morning and saw what appeared to be a cut or a pimple on the skin connecting my penis and scrotum. Popped it and some hardened pus was extracted.

This is how it looked yesterday.

Now I shaved a few days prior and getting bumps/acne after shaving is not uncommon for me. So does that cut look concerning?

Deathly afraid of having contracted anything. What's the chances of me having contracted HSV2 from a one time act? She appeared clean but I am aware of asymptomatic shedding.

It can be. Your protected one time exposure was very low risk.

Your chance of hpv us very very low. I wouldn't be overly concerned.

Thank you. Also immensely worried about HPV. Would never want to give high risk strains of HPV such as 16 or 18 to a woman. I know this is a HSV board but do you have any numbers/percentages on the chances of contracting HPV?

In any case, lesson learned.

That looks like a surface cut that has opened up a little.

A herpes cut will usually present more a a dry slit, think of a deep paper cut. If you got pus out of it, then most likely not herpes.

Chances per episode are say 1 in 5000 with condom and assuming she actually had HSV2.
