Confused, possible herpes?

I'm a 26 year old male and Two weeks ago I received unprotected oral sex.  The person didn't have any signs of sores on th mouth, but I have had quite a bit of scary things happen than have made near fear that I contracted herpes.  About 4 days after receiving oral sex my inner thigh began tingling....the next day the tingling moved to my anus.  The next day it was between my scotum and my thigh, and the following day my pubic hair tingled.  Most of the tingling has stopped, but the tip of my penis began having an occasional tingle a couple of days later.  Nothing has been painful, just different than normal, but not itching....just tingling.  I have absolutely no signs of bumps, lesions, or a rash.  I had my doctor test a small bump after a week with a culture and it came back negative....could this be herpes?  I sweat a lot and I am using somehing for an athletes foot fungus on my foot. I have been reading about the moving tingling and it
also sounds like jock itch (which can be caused my athletes foot).  Finally, I took a sit down bath the night before the first tingle appeared (athlete foot was in the tub with rest of body) which makes me hope that it's jock itch but I don't know.  GP thinks I'm fine but nothing has fixed the tingling....any help?

Tingling is a symptom of Herpes, but is generally short lived.  A person with GH may experience a tingling sensation for a day or two, which is known as a prodome, a precursor to a GH outbreak.  The fact that your tingling has lasted for numerous days with no lesions is evidence towards it not being Herpes.  You've been seen by your doctor; listen to them.  Most likely the tingling is a result of an over-reactive imagination.  Try to relax, and if you develop any visual symptoms, see your GP.
