Confused by test results...

Recently had a herpes test done. I have suffered from cold sores/fever blisters since I was a young child, though in the last few years they have come less and less. So Im pretty positive that my test would show that I'm HSV I positvie. These are my test results...
TEST                                            RESULT                                      LIMITS                       LAB
HSV, IgM I/II Combination                                                                 0.00 - 0.90                   01
>      HSV, IgM I/II Combination         1.12H                              Negative         1.09
It doesnt show what test was used and differentiate between the two types (that I can tell anyway). I have not had any symptoms or signs of genital just the ocassional cold sore. Any help would be appreciated.

First off all you got the wrong test :(  I won't interpret results but I will tell you that your HSV-1 is always going to be positive because you have cold sores / fever blisters.

If you are wanting to test for HSV in the future only ask for a type specific HSV-2 test since your HSV-1 will always be positive.  Never use IgM as it cross reacts and isn't type specific.
