Constantly reinfecting how do i live?!

My tests still come back negative for herpes (1 or 2 i have no idea). i have a cold sore on my eyelid now though.
i put in contacts with a whitlow on my finger which i got from applying blistex on my "dry lips"....
furthermore, i have been using hand sanitizer....which just spreads the disease to opens sores, correct?
i use a washcloth in the shower... i believe i transferred to my leg...and who knows where else on my body.
i would check for genital herpes..then "disinfect" the area with hand sanitizer...so i know im in a world of hurt now
the accyclovir seems to be supressing all of that.. have three whitlows on my hands from biting nails..

i tried to go off of it..and felt my body go through changes..felt prodrome and "heat" everywhere.. that's how i know i've infected myself 100 times over.
i shaved my pubic region... that was the next area the herpes was going to...i must have gotten into the newly shaved areas..
please provide guidelines on stuff not to do so that i am not one huge herpe... (which i currently am).
also, i will need suppressive therapy.. i tried to go down to 400mg but it felt like i was being reinfected everywhere...
how long can i be on this medicine before it becomes resistant?
are there other medicines thati can cycle between that use a different kind?

if it is hsv2...i will probably never touch a human person again..probably in even casual contact either..for fear of giving it to them... can i not wear shorts or anything now? this is ridiculous...
who can i talk to? my dr's won't listen to me... because of serology 5 week igm negative, igg negative ...8 week igg negative..plus...the accyclovir is keeping me from having infections you can "see". they will believe me when i show them the cold sore on my eyelid...

You are in serious trouble with your beliefs about herpes.  You have HSV 1 genitally, which is an infrequently recurring problem.  The symptoms that you are having are extremely unlikely to be related in any way to genital herpes type 1.  There is no way you are having HSV 1 outbreaks on your penis every other day.  Putting hydrogen peroxide on your hands and having it foam up says nothing about what it is.  I strongly suggest that you seek psychiatric help for these problems before it becomes a more serious disorder.

We are finished with posts to this thread.

I wish you the best.

My hands burn and hurt.    My palm had two red stripes on each palm that subsided after a short while    Both palms.       I also put hydrogen peroxide on both hands.    They both foamed up.    We did same to my bros hands.   Nothing.   I also touched my penis once a couple days ago.   My penis dried up and flaked the next day.    Does this sound cobsistebt w whitlow? Please tell me if i should start lookibg for a new job. Herpes is ruining my life   Also still having obs like every other day.

Dry skin is not a manifestion of herpes, no.

I have another quick question. Sorry.

I have whitlow on my finger which is being tested as we speak... culture test...

so. i have just been covering that up with a bandaid.

however, i did have areas of really dry flaky skin on the back of my hands and there were small cuts on there that my dermatologist says that i was itching (i do not remember ever itching it).
he said it was excema and told me to use lotion.

after a while, it went away on its own.
now..my palm is really dry.. back of hand is normal...
no blisters,no pain, just dry flaky skin...
does herpes manifest on the palms as just dry flaky skin?

in my job, i shake hands alot.
i probably shook like 8 people's hands today.
without covering up my hands..and just covering up the blister onh finger..
assuming that it is herpetic whitlow of the palm, how easy is it for these individuals to contract the virus from me from just a handshake?
i believe it is whitlow and am worried as these are my clients and me infecting them will most likely mean a. i get fired b. i quit my job.

i have had the dry sksin about 4 or 5 days.

Thanks.

When you get genital HSV 1, the virus is in the entire nerve group that serves the area from the waist to mid-thigh, It is normal to get more than one lesion, you aren't spreading it, it spreads itself.  It can show up anywhere in that area in the future.  HSV 1 recurs infrequently in the genital area, usually about once a year or less after the first year of infection.  You touching this has NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.  You could struggle with this more because you have HSV 1, and I hope if you find your obsessing too much about your herpes, that you seek professional help for the OCD.

culture done of the lesion is positive for hsv-1.
so. now i constantly feel the prodrome that i felt when the other lesions came.
i was ocd and was constantly looking over my genitals.
and i think i spread it.
there is like 4 questionable lesions down there.

will this multiply the # of outbreaks i will have?
how often could i expect to have outbreaks now?
i still feel it so  there may be more.
i wish i never touched it.

Visual confirmation is not adequate, you need a lab test for confirmation. Did the do one?   If you have brand new herpes, you might get more lesions.  What did they say about your eye?

I went to the doctor on Monday instead and he had visual confirmation of the lesion on my penis as herpes.

So, please tell me what I can do.
I constantly feel prodrome.
I have been looking at my penis alot touching it alot, washing it alot.
I feel constant prodrome. every couple of days. i will feel numbness in my legs...
i currently have like 3 lesions on my penis...
i know, it's common sense not to touch down there ...

also, the number of lesions, does that multiply the number of ob's i will have?

background.
oral and vaginal sex with woman.
month later i had a bunch of white sores in my mouth (could have popped up earlier and not noticed)....
and a small lesion on the penis (could not have come any less than about 3.5 weeks after supposed infection). which i popped immediately.
i bit up the sores in my mouth too...
i went to doctor and by the time i got there, there was not much to test.
they were completely out of my mouth by then... i wasn't able to go until about a week after i noticed everything...
plus..i always thought i had hsv-1 but just rarely got symptoms...so i did not test the mouth.

he examined popped lesion, though and told me it did not look herpetic but he was going to give me medicine, just in case.
at first negative test, i stopped taking medicine until i got the eye infection... which i started up again..

sorry for bombarding you. i will be going this afternoon to get the eye swab test done.
unfortunately, only thing open is urgent care which is $$$$

i have a 12 week test scheduled and i will hear the results of the "partner's" test within the coming week.

The first time i got tested, the dr gave me ACC " just in case:"..
That's why i had it and i used it when i feared ocular herpes...

i felt a tingling in my right finger...
and i put my contacts in with that finger a day oor two laterll
the following day..i had an eye infection.
slit lamp test done.but no herpes on the eye.
but... i see a small cold sore on the bottom of my eye lid.
i used drops to clear out my eyes..
and the virus probably formed a cold sore when i wiped away the tears...

im all for getting off medication..
but. i do not want to jeopardize worsening my eyes.

I think the chances that you are having herpes all over your body as you suspect are very low indeed.

My recommendation is that you stop taking acyclovir completely and retest 16 weeks out from possible exposure.  I also suggest that you go NOW and get your eye swab tested for herpes.

Your perceptions right now are so overblown, I hardly know where to begin except to ask you to do the things that I suggest, starting today with getting a herpes swab done of our eye lid.  OK?

Herpes does not run all over your body as you are thinking.
Who placed you on acyclovir, based on what tests?

Follow up question...
i think i infected my penis...
my whitlow finger... i touched my penis... on the right side....
30 minutes later...i freaked out about it.
put an irritant soap and water on a paper towel.
and continued to clean my penis.
it burned..
what are the chances I infected my penis in that scenario?
