Contracted herpes?

This was my first sexual experience since not being in a relationship anymore (was in a monogamous relationship for 12 years prior - Her and I were virgins before our relationship). We kissed for a while; I became erect and put a condom on. When I went to put it in her, I wasn't hard anymore - nerves as this was the first woman I had slept with since my gf. So I took the condom off and she asked if she could perform oral sex on me to get me hard. I agreed so she did for about 2 minutes. I then grabbed the condom and put it back on. There was air at the end because I had to just put it back on the way it was. I then messed with it until the air was out. We proceeded to have sex for about ten to fifteen minutes. As I was about to ejaculate I pulled out and noticed it was all caught in the condom (I was making sure there were no holes due to the way I put it back on).

The next day I felt a weird sensation in my urethra. It felt as if someone was pinching it ever so slightly. As if it had a slight "kink" in it. I felt this for two days, and then on day 3 I felt pretty intense off-and-on itching on the head and shaft of my penis, as well as on the scrotum and anus. I also noticed on day 4 some red blotches on the head of my penis. They are very faint and have looked the same for about 3 days now. Other than this, my temperature has been at about a degree less than "normal." I have itching on both eyes (mostly the right eye), and my eyes feel slightly crusty although there is no visible dried mucus or anything unusual. I did feel back pain during day 2 and 3, but that has subsided and back pain is something that has always came and gone for me. I felt run down and fatigued on days 1 and 2 after exposure but feel pretty energetic now on day 5.

I am obviously freaked out as this diagnosis, if positive will be devastating news to me. I realize I must wait 14 weeks or so for the test results to be accurate so I came on here to get the opinion of an expert. This sounds likes a typical case of herpes huh?

this is now the 8th day and for the past two days I have experienced almost unbearable (at times) itching in my groin area. Mostly on the shaft, the head and on the scrotum, with a little itching on my anus. I have been trying tea tree oil and rubbing it all over down there in case this is fungal. No help so far after two days of this treatment. I do not show any lesions anywhere or redness. Only the itching and possibly a slight burning (the burning however, could be in my head after reading that as a symptom of herpes). The itching on other parts of my body has stopped for the most part. Besides a couple itches here and there. The initial itching all over my body may have been due to my own stress and anxiety. The itching down there however, has not subsided. The itching comes and goes and I believe it generally gets worse as I become sweaty/hot down there. This has not been the case every time I itch though. I am freaking out because I believe I am amazingly in tuned with my body and have felt the virus in my body since day 2. I think that common knowledge regarding this virus will say that my chances are low and that these are not symptoms, but I get extremely worried when reading about others experiences who did in face test positive for herpes after similar sensations to those I have been having.

I think I initially gave you information that was misleading because some of my symptoms were possibly brought on from my own stress and anxiety. This lingering itch down there with no spots or redness or dry patches seems to only have one explanation at this point. Is this sounding more like herpes now? Is my body giving me signs that the virus is running its course in my body?

This doesn't sound much like herpes at all. A yeast or bacterial infection is much more likely, even a reaction to the condom.

If you are concerned, seek medical advice for treatment.

The girl swears she has never had any issues, outbreaks or symptoms (not even a cold sore), even after reading tons of info on this now. But she is contacting all 4 of her sexual partners to see if they have it. Her last one said he has been tested and is fine but who knows if he did a full scan for HSV1 and HSV2.
