Could HSV-1 test be a false positive?

Hello, I recently received results of a 9-panel STD test and the only thing that came back positive was the HSV-1 IgG reading, which was 50.10. I have come to understand that this is quite high...maybe unusually so. My question is whether or not this might be a false positive. I honestly don't think I've ever had a cold sore, and I haven't had any HSV-1 symptoms that I know of. I do get the occasional mouth ulcer, as I have since I was a kid, but they don't match the profiles I've read about online for HSV-1. I did, however, have chicken pox as a kid. Could this be the cause of such a high reading? Hoping for a professional opinion here. Thank you for your time.

You are positive for hsv1. Yours is a very common tale. Most folks don't know they have it as they get it as a very small child and don't get cold sores anymore. Most adults have it. The only thing you need to do is avoid kissing or oral sex if you ever get a cold sore. Other than that it's business as usual.
