Could I have genital herpes? Opinions needed!

Here's my problem. About a week ago I shaved "down there" and I thought that I had cut myself. I had sex with my boyfriend (we've only been dating for 2 1/2 months) the next day and it hurt a little. I thought maybe the cut was being irritated and reopened during sex. Later that night we were having sex again and it hurt so bad I had to tell him to stop. It felt like a burning sensation on the inside of my vagina, not outside. It thought that I just had a bad razor burn or cut that was being irritated when I went to the restroom as well. Every time I use the restroom if hurts so bad when I wipe. Sorry if this is too graphic for some. Tonight I decided to use my magnifying mirror to see if anything was starting to heal. When I looked I saw several little slits that look like small cuts and I have two tiny white bumps next to each other. This is all happening around the vaginal opening. I also have one red bump on my labia that could just be razor burn. The cuts and the bumps do no itch and are not painful unless I touch them. I have not had any flu like symptoms, fever, or head aches like the symptoms say you might have, but I am scared to death that this could be herpes or HPV. I've looked at pictures online and mine doesn't seem to look anything like them except for the two tiny white bumps. Is this just a shaving incident that is being irritated and is not able to heal as quickly because of that? Or is this something I need to be worried about? My boyfriend said he was tested for STD's about a year and a half ago. I was tested a year ago, but have had a couple incidents of unprotected sex since then. Any opinions and suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

Good news! I went to the doctor today and it's not herpes. It's folliculitis! They gave my lidocaine for the pain and Bactrim for an anti biotic. I'm so relieved! Thanks your reply auntiejessi!

It honestly could be herpes or folliculitis, but you'll only know if you see a doctor.

I doubt seriously your bf was tested for herpes, even if he did have std testing.  Its not usually included.

He should ask his doctor for a type specific IgG blood test, and you should get checked as soon as you can, and insist that they do a type specific herpes culture on it.
