Could I have herpes

by Bobtrucker104, Jun 13, 2008 05:00PM
Hi
About 3 weeks ago I had sex (wore a condom) and performed oral sex on a girl who is not considered to be the cleanest. I was later told later by a friend of mine that she has herpes
A week after the encounter I came down with high fever and headach that lasted for 4 days
Its been 18 days and have had no symptoms other than the 4 day high fever (no rashes or anything)
Could I have herpes

Worried Please help Thanks Bob

If you performed oral sex on the girl, you would get herpes around your mouth area and not genitally. As far as the fever and headache with no obvious lesions, I don't think it is herpes...

Fever without blisters, sores, or a rash is not due to herpes.  If you were having a primary outbreak, you would be experiencing genital (or oral) symptoms, not just fever alone.
