Could bleeding during intercourse mean herpes?

I have been having bleeding during intercourse, to the point where my boyfriend and I have to stop. No pain, just bleeding. So far std tests (chlamydia & gonorrhea) were negative,  ultrasound was negative,  and I switched my birth control.  Pap was also normal. However, the bleeding continues. I have been researching cervicitis and have found articles stating that genital herpes can cause this and sometimes be the only symptom of herpes. I also read that some people don't have any symptoms of cervicitis except for bleeding during/after intercourse. I have no other symptoms,  no bumps, lesions, or blisters. The bleeding has been going on for 2-3 months. Could this be a symptom of genital herpes?

It would be exceptionally rare for herpes to be at play here, even if you have it. IgG testing will tell you your status and I'd suggest will rule out genital herpes.
