Could i have herpes?
A year ago i had sex with a guy 2 times two different nights. Each time he took the condom off half way through because he said it was hurting him. Recently like 3 months ago ive been having thick discharge and slight burning also my doctor said i look irritated down there (I wear thongs and had been sweating a lot before i went in) it came back negative for yeast one time i just went back and am waiting for results they said it deff looks like a yeast infection. It lasts about a week. Ive never had any bumps or lesions. Ive also been tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV and syphilis. And is Western Blot the most accurate for testing?
So I mean does it sound much like herpes? I'm preparing myself for the worst when I go and ask for the test and get results back. This seems to come and go with my periods so i don't know if it's a coincidence that its going away. Sorry I feel like I've asked so many questions but you've honestly been a great help.
Hmm well I will discuss this with them. My itching and burning has gone away since yesterday or the day before. I know from the very beginning you said it doesn't sound like herpes to you but from the rest of the information I have given you has your opinion changed? I'm upset that I was given misinformation because she said there was no reason to be retested for those two things because it would get rid of it. I was previously checked for it right when I got with my current boyfriend and I'm not too concerned about having it but I still will talk with them because that information obviously isn't correct. Does it treat bladder infection or like UTIs because she said I don't need to be checked for that either that this will treat it?? She has me taking this medicine twice a day for five days.

What?!? So what will it kill. The lady said itd kill everything in its path of course not herpes though.
I told her I thought it could be trichomoniasis that's why she prescribed me it and also says it kills all other infections and like chalmydia and ghonnorea and see if that works. I also think I have folliculitus because a couple months ago I keep getting little pimples down there I never used too when I go to the gyno I'm going to discuss it with them.
Metronidazole. And no they didn't even look at me just referred me to a gyno. I told her my concern for herpes and she said when I come back we could discuss it but she isn't concerned that this sounds like herpes.

Well my doctor just refered me to a gyno which I was thinking in the first place. I can go in 2 weeks when I get insurance back and for now they gave me a pill that gets rid of all stds to see if that helps.
I'm at the doctors now but can't have test run for another two weeks I have no insurance or money right now. My inner labia looked like it was kind of peeling I'm freaking out.
I can't get into the doctors until at least tomorrow or Wednesday . I'm not able to be seen tomorrow. What does this sound like it could be too you? I have a million things in mind I want her to check for. And how accurate would a swab test be at this point even if there are no bumps.

Grace you have been a HUGE help and sorry for so many questions and postings at once. I can't get into the doctor until Tuesday or Wednesday probably. My labia is the only thing really bothering me and kind of the opening of my vagina but this only itches and burns right after I wipe from peeing. Would herpes do this or would it be a constant thing through out the day??? And is it possible to never have an bumps or lesions with an outbreak? I check multiple times a day for anything and it doesn't even seem red unless I itch it.
It's a crazy question but I was just wondering would chlorine kill herpes on the skin if he was shedding? Because we were swimming and ended up having sex. Could that lower the risk of transmission or do you think it has no effect.
Yes Im going in this week and I was just taking it to see if the itching would go down. But I told him that you have to ask for herpes test and he said he did he's not stupid. He was kinda rude about it but I will make sure I get one myself.

herpes is not a part of routine std testing . odds are the fellow you asked didn't have full std testing done at all and just assumes he did ( or is just telling you he did ).

Also I spoke to the guy about my concerns and he said he just had a physical and asked to be checked for everything and he was clean. I don't know how much to trust him tho.
My doctor can't see me over the weekend. My labia is fine today it's just extremely itchy down there. Yesterday I took a pill for yeast infection and I have a few more so I might take another today.
you need to be seen today. make sure that they also test you for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally too. they can do that even if you have your period.
So I had the slight burning for weeks and a day or two before my period my inner labia was itching kind of bad. Now I'm two days into my period and my tampon was bothering me really bad so I used a pad. My tampon has been out for a few hours and my inner labia is sore feeling to touch. It doesn't burn when I pee and it looks a little red. Could this be an outbreak???
