Could it be HSV2 in my eye?

I think I spread HSV 2 to my eyes. Ok, here is a little back story. On Jan, 28th I had my first HSV 2 outbreak I must of had it for years. A couple days later it was confirmed through culture.  At the end of Feb, but I know for sure March 1st my right eye started to feel like something was in it. I kept wiping it which I believe caused a raw spot in the corner of my eye (opposite end of the nose corner) which lasted a couple days because I was putting vaseline to protect it when i rub. A couple of those days it did feel like my eye was a tab bit watery. From what i can tell my eye is not red, had very slight pain or it could be just irritation a couple times. I'm like 90% positive that I washed my hands when i was dealing with my sores and when they heal but I'm human and I could of likely didn't wash my hands good enough that one time or not at all. I really don't have a reason to touch my eyes, I don't wear contact or glasses, unless it could be one of the few times i was crying about having hsv2 and wiped my eyes with my hand. My eye or eyelid sometime be twitching. I don't know if its anxiety or my nerves is bad because of all that's happening. It seem like when I start to get upset the twitching flare up.

Now, I'm scared even more because yesterday i took a piece of tissue and twisted one of the ends to make a point to press or rub up against my right eyeball to see if it was sore or had anything in it for like 2 seconds and then took the same part went to my left eye which haven't been bothering me and rub it against that eyeball for like 2 seconds until I realized that i was using the same tissue. So like a couple hours later I felt like something was in that eye as well.  So I don't know if its all in my head with the left eye or not.Could it be that its irritated at the same spot because i touched on it? Is it possible that i could of spread the hsv2 to one or  both of eyes? I'm so scared i don't want to go blind?

Actually,my right eye I have had problems with in the past. In 2011, I woke up with my eye closed shut and crusty. It was swollen and from what I remember had green discharge for a week. I used allergy medicine and hot compress thinking it was allergies. Same thing happen in 2012. In April of 2013, I went to the doctor because I had a lump on my eyelid and she said it was a stye to put heat to it for 2 weeks and it should go away. If not i can have a Dr. scope it out. I did apply heat for maybe 2 days and that's it. It never went all the way down and to this day it is still a slight lump under my skin i can feel and see it but its been there for 2 years almost. Last year, I was under alot of stress from buying a house wake up to my eye blood shot red.I went to the hospital didn't see anything wrong. Didn't give me any medicine or nothing. Sorry this is so long just want everything to be out.

please pardon a newbie chiming in here.  I have posted my own herpes fear in this forum within the past week.  I also experienced some burning in my eyelids.  In the past, it was always attributed to inverse psoriasis.  In my fear of herpes, I researched an infection known as ocular herpes.  In every article I read, ocular herpes was attributed to hsv 1.  Hsv 2 is NOT a cause of ocular herpes, per the experts.

Well I been married for the past 4 years. I haven't cheated in our marriage and pretty positive he haven't either. Well I can say I'm pretty positive for the last 2 years since he license is suspended and I take him back and forth to work, I work from home and when we he not working we at home together. We moved to another state over year ago. We have been together for 10 years and 2 years before we married we did separate for a couple months and both admitted that we seen other people. I did ask him if he messed around and his response all I do is go to work and come home and you drop me off at the door, pick me up and check my pay stubs(I handle all bills). I'm kind of confident that either I had it for awhile or if he had it for awhile I'm just now catching it. We haven't use protection since before we were married.

Fleetwood20 is correct.  If you've had HSV2 for years, the possibility of you spreading it to your eye is slim to none.  After you've had HSV for a long period of time, you develop antibodies to make it virtually impossible to spread it somewhere else on your body. (seroconversion)

On top of that, HSV2 does not like the facial region, it prefers the lower portion of your body, generally the "boxer short" region.

How do you know you've had it for years if you just tested positive for it recently?

I don't know if it was properly typed or not when I got the results all the lady told me it was negative for hsv1 and positve for hsv2. She said there wasn't any numbers. I went in on a Tuesday and got my results back on a Sunday.

Yes, I must of had for a couple years but never had an outbreak.

No, I haven't seen a eye doctor yet making an appointment tomorrow.

Was your culture properly typed for HSV2? Or did the result come back after less than 4 days?

You suggest you've had this for years. In this case, it is virtually impossible to inoculate yourself. Your immune system will keep it at bay. The vast majority of eye herpes is caused by the virus travelling up the optic nerve from an oral infection and not externally.

Do you see a doctor regarding your eye issue they will be able to determine whether herpes is present as they're are distinctive signs within the eye. I doubt very much this will be the case.
