Could it be herpes? upper lip (pics included)

I haven't been sexually active in around 3 months, anyways this pimple looking thing popped up on my lip as you can see in the picture below ... its day 3 and it went down significantly; btw i've never had anything like this before.

It never opened up and i didn't notice any fluid inside ... could it be herpes?
I'm thinking its just a pimple or maybe a bug bite.

why not its only my face ... why would you ask me to describe it when you can see it?

Anyways i think it was only a pimple since its pretty much gone now.  Also it never opened up, and it was one pimple and not a cluster.

have you ever been tested for herpes to know your status?

have you been seen and had this looked at if you are concerned?
