Could it be herpes?

Ok so like 2 weeks a go I got 5 bumps in my pubic area. 3 I was able to pop and pluck a hair out so they went away. Two were more difficult because of where located but now theyre gone. The dr said they were ingrown hairs. Then like 3 weeks before that I got a small pimple down there that was sore after I tried to pop it so I went to the drs freaking out, she said it was a pimple, she poped it and it went away the next day. Then a week before that I had a yeast infection which seemed to have caused the pimple. The whole time through this I was afraid I could have herpes because it says it is easy to confuse with yeast infections, pimples, and ingrown hairs. I had all three recently!!! all the drs said no. Do you think they're right or misdiagnosed it?

have you ever been tested for herpes before? if not, why not consider getting a type specific herpes igg blood test at some point just to see what your status is while it's on your mind.

what you describe doesn't really sound like genital herpes going on. continue to follow up on it with your provider to get to the bottom of things though.
