Could it be herpes

I know I need to see a doctor because I seriously need help. For the past couple of years I've had 3 surgeries because of a Bartholin's cyst with last March/April in 07 I had another surgery for a labia/vulva lip abscess which required surgery to relieve my discomfort. I've had my sexual partner for the past 1yr and a half and we use protection AT ALL TIMES. This past October I noticed that prior to my period or during my period I would get blood fill bumps around the area where I had surgery and no where else! Sometimes it hurt to urinate and by the 3rd day of my period they would disappear! I've went to the gyno and she didnt notice anything unusual. I tested negative for HIV in July of last year. I know the symptoms of Herpes but I am freaking out! Does anyone had these symptoms before?
