Covered oral (receiving) and herpes?

Hi,
I was wondering what the risk of herpes was from receiving (as a man) oral from a women. I heard that it can spread even with a condom but was not sure if that was mainly referring to vaginal sex (where the thighs etc. touch) or if there was any risk from oral too when covered?
Thank in advance.

Grace,
as far as I know my own status is clear. I've never seen any herpes warts on any parts of my body and do not suffer from cold-sores. As I've not been exposed to HSV1 (to my knowledge) I'm worried that even with receiving covered oral isn't there a risk that woman's lips could touch the base of my penis and my scrotum and pass on a herpes infection that way? Would I also be more susceptible to catching herpes as I've not been previously exposed to HSV1 orally so I have less defences against it or is that not the case?
Thanks in advance.
Matt

have you ever been tested for herpes to know your own status?

hsv1 genitally is the main risk of receiving oral sex when it comes to herpes.

protected oral is no risk for herpes.
