Cross reaction question

I tested positive on igm. And neg on igg. Ibe had strange symtoms but no sores or lesions or rash. A few bumps which I had swabbed still waiting on results. Anyways I have  an allergy to alpha gal which is found in red meats. (Google lone star tick you'll know what im talking about). I've tested positive for antibodies to this and have had severe reactions after eating red meat before I knew I had it. Is is possible that my hsv igm picked up antibodies in my blood that are there because of alpha gal allergy? Also would neck pain be present with out lesions or would that probably be stress?

Okay I'll do my best to ignore it. What about neck pain. I'm having pain in the muscles that go up the left side of my spine in my neck. And also left ear has been giving me issues as well. Hurts when i burp. Rings sometimes. And feels pressurized. Sudefed has helped some... its Been over 30 days past exposure and a week  since i finished 10 days of valtrex. Should I assume these arn't hsv related?

Yes, they are not herpes related. Just wait for the swab tests to come back. If negative you can test with igg only 12 weeks from last exposure

Igm tests are useless and unreliable. The issue with igm tests are the vast number of false positives. No std expert recommends the igm. Even the CDC is against igm testing in adults for this very reason.  Disregard the igm all together
