Cure to cold sores

Hello, I usually get really bad fever blisters(coldsores) on my lips once/twice a year, is there any type of vitamin, medication, shot, I can take to stop it or prevent it from happening?

you can use any of the herpes antivirals - acyclovir, valtrex or famvir.

Hello,

I would take Lysine supplements. They are amazing. I have literally seen them make a cold sore only have a) one blister instead of many and b) go away in two days on my ex partner.

And for outbreaks themselves, take an antiviral. Also, if you can identify when you outbreak exactly then take good care of yourself during that time. Like for myself, I caught it this year and my outbreaks tend to be triggered by menstruation. So, I make sure to tone it down and sleep and eat well around then to not add any further stressors to my body around then.

Lysine hasn't been shown to reduce outbreaks anymore better than anything else out there.  There is not much proof either that outbreaks are caused by menstruation.  If that was the case every female who has HSV would have an outbreak once a month.
