Hi, I have been going crazy for almost 6 weeks now. I went to my Dr. almost 6 weeks ago, I took a shower and noticed I had alittle pain "down there", I grabbed a mirror and saw alittle paper cut
at the opening of my vagina, I immediatley made an appointment and went to see her, she looked at it and said it was a fungus, told me to use anti fungal cream, i told her I wanted a herpes test, so she did that, reassured me it wasn't herpes, the test came back negative, (culture), the cut
, the blood test came back positive for H1, which he said it would, seeing that I had the cold sore and have gottten them since I was little, H2 came back negative and so did all the other STD tests. Another culture, negative. Now here it is almost 6 weeks later, the cut
is almost an inch long, never scabbed, doesn't itch, doesn't hurt unless I touch it or urinate. Called him today, he said it didn't look like herpes and that how many tests would I need to realize that that wasn't it. The skin around the cut has now turned a bright white, not raised, not an "open" sore or anything, just "white". I have an appointment the beginning of July to go back. I'm at my wits end over this, crying, depressed, everything I read suggests herpes, but 2 cultures and a blood test negative, I'm not sure what to belive.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Obviously it's not herpes, based on testing and symptoms that have lasted 6 weeks. You really need to move past the herpes thing, and follow-up with your doctor regarding the chronic "cut" that has not healed.
Hi Petal130, thanks for your quick reply. I just don't know what else to think other than that, everything I read suggest that cuts is a form of herpes. I can't think of what else could have cause the cut
