DYNAMICLEAR

by disturbed226, Jun 11, 2009 08:48AM
Hi,

Has anyone ever heard of Dynamiclear or have actually used it? It's something I accidentally came across as a treatment for outbreaks that speeds up the process, reduces occurences and makes it much more bearable. www.dynamiclear.com.
Looking forward to getting some feedback. I'd like to know if this thing actually works, because if it does it seems like a great product to keep in your bathroom cupboard!

I also came across something called Choraphor. It seems this is more well known than Dynamiclear which I'm beginning to think is a copy of the Choraphor. So has anyone used either of these products?? and what's your take? Is it worth it? I'm thinking if I continue suppressive treatment and use something of this nature when I do get another outbreak (which I am not looking forward to) that would aid in decreasing the occurrences and length of time it lasts. Just thinking...I'm REALLY new to this so I'm still learning. Your input is greatly appreciated!

The best bang for your buck is acyclovir to prevent outbreaks or speed healing.

The two products you mentioned are bogus. Don't waste your money.

If you don't have a family doctor or don't have health insurance to get a prescription for an antiviral medication, go to a Planned Parenthood or public health clinic. And start lobbying for a nationalized health insurance plan from President Obfake.

Lol ok. I'm on the acyclovir right now and I've asked the doctor for continous refills because I dont mind taking it everyday for the rest of my life if I have to. I have health insurance but it doesn't cover that I presume because its an STD and I knowingly exposed myself to that risk. I'm assuming...I was shocked to realise that it didn't cover them because that was the first medication I ever got that insurance denied. I just left a message for my doctor because I've been doing a lot of readings and everything I've come across says that if you're taking episodic treatment for a break out or if it's your primary infection (which it is) it is meant to be taken 5 times a day (200mg) every 4 hours. However, he had me on 40mg once a day. I'm getting half what's recommended. I figure since he's a really good doctor he must know what he's doing but Im just wondering why Im on 400 once a day. I'm trying to get rid of this thing!

It may not be necessary to take "the rest of your life every day." It's often a good idea not to take it in the beginning to determine what your outbreak pattern is and whether you can live with it or not. If you only have outbreaks 1-2 times a year, you might not want to bother taking it. When you certainly want to take it daily is when you have a negative partner, though.

Do you even know your outbreak pattern?

I don't take medication at all unless I have a negative sex partner. I don't get but one outbreak a year, and sometimes not even that so I don't bother with medication. It also saves you money not to be on it all the time daily for years on end. Why take it if you don't need it?

Health insurance is supposed to cover whatever you need no matter how you ended up "getting" a disease or a disorder. That's what they are there for. Of course, in the U.S., care is denied for even serious ailments like cancer, so your provider may not cover you for anything. Too bad we don't have nationalized health insurance. It's really criminal that private insurers are allowed in the game.

Thanks so much for your replies waringblender. I can't say what my outbreak pattern is as yet. I was just diagnosed when I went to the daughter last weekend to find out what was wrong with me. He looked and gave me a diagnosis and put me on the meds. My partner was completely unaware he had it otherwise we would've taken precaution. I'm due to see my doctor again in a week's time and persons here have recommended both me and my partner taking a test. He has not taken a test or anything since I told him about this. We just concluded he has it because I now have it and he's the ONLY person I could have contracted it from. Don't know if its HSV1 or 2, but I guess I need to find all this stuff out. I hope I'm one of the lucky ones like you that do not have frequent recurrences.

So based on what you're saying, since my partner is likely to be negative I would need to take medication. This infection is so strange and unpredictable. He's still trying to figure out who he could've gotten it from and we have NO idea how long he's had it and to date he's still not showed any symptoms. Yet I  just contracted it and I'm already showing outward symptoms! Isn't that something!

I'm taking in all that you're telling me and I'll bring it before my doctor during my next visit. I'd probably have to insist on a test though, doctors always think they know so much so it could be as if why go through the hassle of a test if I've told you for certain what it is. But we shall see. I'll keep this updated!

Keep sharing your knowledge, it's greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

Another thing,

I'm beginning to get a sore throat and feel as if I'm coming down with the cold. Hopefully not the flu. I'm guessing this is because my immune system is being attacked at the moment. Does that mean my immune system is weak and that my body will have to work extra hard to fight this thing??

Still lots of cold and flu going around this time of the year.  Just take your acyclovir as ordered - 400mg 2x/day for suppressive therapy since that seems to be your choice of treatment.

Your insurance should be covering generic acyclovir - most do.  Don't hesitate to give them a call and ask for more information if your pharmacy told you it wasn't covered.
