Daily suppressive therapy?

I keep reading someone post about daily suppressive therapy.  What is this?  I was diagnosed with herpes 2 just after christmas. I have had similar symptoms before but was never diagnosed and was told it was negative and was just a vaginal tear.  Then I went again and was finally diagnosed.  I never had a typical 1st ourbreak as what most doctors say they are.  my culture was positive but my bloodwork was negative.  So I totally have no idea how long its been since I contracted it.  My issue is since christmas I have had 3 outbreaks.  I was taking lysine daily but stopped that and if stress is a factor well then im screwed.  Is there anything safe I can take daily to help stop these outbreaks? I don't want to be single for the rest of my life but who would want to deal with this so often?

I had my blood work done just under 2 weeks after intercourse.  I thought I had another tear, as this isnt something unfamiliar to me.  But this time i was given the culture and blood work.

lysine isn't effective for preventing herpes recurrences. we don't recommend its use at all.

have you read the free herpes handbook yet by terri warren that goes over treatments?  just google it and it comes right up.
