Dead Scaredd of Herpes after confirmed exposure..

Hi, I a male have had confirmed exposure to herpes 1 and 2 after a one night stand which resulted in deep kissing, half a minute of oral sex and a very brief protected intercourse. Its a confirmed exposure becz I got her tested at the same clinic I have been going to..and she was very high HSV 1 and HSV 2 antibody on the igG test. I am sitting on my 10th weekend exactly and had spent more than 2000 $ on testing.. my latest Western Blot done at 2 months time was negative for both HSV 1 and 2 and my latest igG test done last Wednesday came back negative with HSV 1 at 22.The problem is my 1st igG test at 42 days was a mirror image of the last. Just opposite readings for HSV 1 and 2.So does that mean I am getting slowly positive with HSV 2.. from <2 at 42 days and 8.1 at 70.Please note that I have had no major symptoms but i examine myself several times every day and anything and everything seems like herpes onset to me.. until they dont really flare up in ways herpes does as per this forum.I am on sleeping meds and on verge of ending a 13 year relationship over guilt of cheating.I was drunk and made a mistake.. I just want to be saved this time and be responsible from now on.. BTW another igG and Urine culture test from herpes is pending from another clinic.. should be out this Wednesday.. please can you help me.. I am in a pathetic state. Please Help.

No it doesn't. There are always values and they will fluctuate. You can rest easy. Your tests are over 90% accurate as of your tenth week and you've had no outbreak. The protected intercourse was really no risk, or at least so low it doesn't warrant concern. The idds are 1 in a 1000 for unprotected single exposure. Add a condom and it becomes pretty darn safe. Maybe 1 in 10,000 or better. Tbe oral sex was pretty safe as well. Your only real enemy here is the stress your under. You clearly did not contract hsv.

Correction - my latest igG test done at around 10the week for HSV 1 and 2 reads <2 ru/ml for oral herpes and 8.1 ru/ml for genital. While my 1st test at 42 days read just the opposite.. 8.5 for HSV 1 and <2 for HSV 2.Does that mean I am getting positive for HSV 2 slowly. Equivocal range being 16 - 22 ru/ml and above that positive.
