I had dishydrotic eczema on the palms of my hands and then palmoplantar psoriasis. I could literally poke the dishydrotic eczema bubbles on my hand with a sterilized sewing pin and felt nothing (except and explosion of the clear fluid inside.). I don't think it's dishydrotic eczema as they shouldn't be in a row. It could be many other things. It could be hand, foot mouth disease or palmoplatar psoriasis, but if you have no other symptoms, I'd discount both. You should definetly get a second opinion. Your doctor shouldn't be putting you on valtrex without blood labs as it can be tough on your liver and he should have ordered liver tests prior to putting you on the medication to see your liver function results as a baseline in case the valtrex raised certain levels of enzymes in your liver. Find a specialist in infectious disease, fast. You could spread it elsewhere if they weep or break or they could spread on their own. It may be herpes but it could he athletes foot too....theres many different things. Find a infectious disease doctor ASAP.
I have seen hsv on the foot before. Sure wouldve been nice if your dr actually did some diagnostic testing and just didn't push meds!!
