well since 1 out of every 2-3 people has hsv1 and 1 out of every 4-5 has hsv2, periodically testing for herpes to know your status is important. you and your partners can't make educated decisions about what precautions to take for sexual contact until you both know who has what.

if spelling ever counts around here, I'm screwed....lol

you shouldn't be shaving again until the skin is completely cleared up. if you are prone to getting shaving rashes when you shave, perhaps just try a body hair trimmer and keep the hair short instead of taking it all off. Pubic hair actually serves a purpose and shaving creates microscopic ( and sometimes very obvious ) cuts in the skin that makes you more vulnerable to std infection as well as bacterial skin infections.

you've been seen 4 time and not a single provider thinks this is herpes - why can't you let that idea go?

if you have never been tested for herpes before, wait 3 months after the last time you had sex and seek out a type specific herpes igg blood test to see what your status is and go from there.
