Do I have herpes or not?

HI, my first herpes test about 1 month ago said that I had herpes type 2.
It was a herpes select test, Igg and the results were
IgG HSV 1 <0.91    
IgG HSV 2 3.61 High
This meant I had herpes type two However, I took a retest a month later, which was last week and here are my results
IgG HSV 1 <0.91
IgG HSV 2 <0.91
IgM HSV I/II combination 1.79 High
The second test Igg test showed I had neither herpes type 1 or 2, but the IGM said I do. What does this mean, do I have herpes type 2 or not?
Also, I never showed any symptoms of having Herpes at all. All I had was a recent case of balanitis.

wow thats a weird. Usually if a test is positive it dont turn negative. Thats another reason of why i need to be retested. I am scared this could happen to me. I am showing postive for type 2. I think im for surely going to retest again. If i were you i would retest 1 more time! How long ago do u think u got infected or had sex with the person that infected u?kUsually it takes 2 to 3 months to detect antibodies in the blood test.

the igm test is a bad test for herpes and shouldn't be drawn on you. totally disregard the results because they are meaningless.

Your + hsv2 igg was still possibly a false positive. At this point a herpes WB blood test would be the best option to give you a final answer.

same thing happened to me...u sould read my post...does that mean we have herpes or not, or do we have some type of super immune system that can erradicate the virus like it was the flu or something
