Three months ago my girlfriend gave me oral sex in the morning (still dark). When we got up, we realized that she had a cold sore on her mouth. Obviously I scrubbed in the shower like crazy upon seeing this. Now three months later I have the typical cluster of blisters which have since begin to scab and heal, as well as a swollen lymph gland one one side down there. I would think I caught HSV-1 if only I had this "out-break" a lot sooner and the sores hurt like hell, but they are honestly painless. Could this be a case of being rubbed raw from sex, masturbation, athletics, etc, or could this be herpes - keeping in mind the timeline and the lack of pain.
