Do the symptoms add up?

About a month ago(June 7) I had sex with a Condom and 2 days after, I began to itch in my groin area but I didn't think much of it since 2 weeks prior I had nair'd and shaved my hair off. So 1 week goes by without change and I told myself that I should be fine but get checked out anyway. So I went to get checked for chlamydia and gonorrhea. I also had the health care professional take a look at my genitals and she said I could have jock itch. So with this only a week after and a health care professional looking at it I went to get jock itch spray and use it. It help temporarily but I did see improvement in my scrotum area. I used it till I could see a doctor and 2 weeks after the 7th I showed my doctor the area which was red as far as my scrotum. My folds in between my thigh was slightly red also but no lesions or cracks and she gave me some cream to put in these areas. I used this for about a week more with no change and became very worried and also stressed. When the doctor checked my weight out I had actually gained 15 or so pounds since march. I'm also a very hairy person and I tend to have over active sweat glands. So the following week I go back to the same doctor's office but I see a different doctor and I told here this cream is much help and I also showed her my scrotum area which she said right away it was jock itch and that she would give me a different cream. She gave me ciclopirox olamine 30g tube and I've used it since June 28. I'm not sure but what could this be? Jock itch? Herpes? Another skin condition? The pain associated with this is at the least amount during this whole ordeal but I need answers. I've also taken pictures to show.

Is it better to nair'd the area for better results of putting the cream on? I work in a warehouse making paint all day and we just received an A/C unit which was installed 2 1/2weeks ago. Texas is hitting +100° and I'm afraid the cream is just gonna fade off or be nonexistent. I told my doctor and that's why she increased my cream in the 28th of june. I apply it twice a day. I forgot but my doctor also has me on probiotics to help my skin. Will this help? Any other information about jock itch that is helpful I would appreciate it.

No, some fungal infections take weeks of disciplined use of the topical creams to get rid of for good, and be the right strength and formula.

Isn't jock itch easy to get rid of? It shouldn't take this amount of time. I also am suffering from oral thrush a little.

These are not herpes related symptoms. This sounds much more like a persistent fungal or bacterial infection. You are not describing lesions and also areas such as scrotum and folds that are not common places for those lesions in any event.
