Do you think I have Herpes or Yeast infection

18 days ago I had unprotected sex with a girl whom I know decently well. I noticed like two days later that my penis was very itchy. (I slept with her on a Tuesday night, then woke up early Wednesday morning, drove back to university, and didn't shower for about 2 days). I noticed there was a red patch on the tip of my penis and little red bumps or dots on it as well, and my penis was itchy. I caught a yeast infection before and it was the exact same feeling when I "attempted" to masturbate... basically everything felt the same. I had the white cottage cheese stuff when I rolled my foreskin back etc. However last time I caught it, the only partner my gf had was me so I knew it wasn't an STD. This time however, I don't know the females sexual history, she told me she has been checked before and never had anything, she also told me she never had a yeast infection before and she doesn't have any symptoms I had.

I treated the rash like yeast and kept the area very dry and cleaned daily. The rash seemed to go away quicker this time (last time i was lathering my mothers monistat on my penis, prolonging it with all the moisture). However, the time it went away, I tried to masturbate as it wasn't sensitive anymore. I was masturbating pretty hard for close to an hour and then just gave up (just one of those times). Anyway afterwards i noticed 2 little red dots on the tip of my penis. They did not hurt, burn, itch or sting. They are so small that I can't make out what they are, they appeared to be raised slightly, but I'm not even sure if they were, I think they were? These dots were quite spaced out. Anyway I have been pulling back my foreskin examining my penis for like over two weeks now. I also noticed on my foreskin a little red spot... very very hard to notice, I probably wouldn't have if I wasnt so worried. Anyway I think I irritated it by touching it so much and a little skin appeared to peel away. Felt similar to when I've masturbated too hard and damaged the skin slightly. However I still noticed no pain/ burning/ itching or anything after the initial rash/cottage cheese went away.

I started reading tons of articles of possible symptoms for herpes... And I started making myself believe I might have them... Mostly I thought my testicles were tender or swollen, but I stopped thinking about it and voila I don't notice it anymore... I guess you could say I've been paranoid. I also masturbated three times the other day, once in the shower and then I came out noticed a bit of the cottage cheese stuff under my foreskin, and cleaned it away. I also did the "spit test" for yeast infection and my spit did spiral down to the bottom like it is supposed to if you have one. ( I realize many say this test is a hoax).

Also those 2 red bumps/dots I mentioned earlier.. well I was so worried they might be herpes blisters that I even attempted to pop them to see if anything would come out, been rough with them to see if I could feel any pain etc... and NOTHING! I went to the doctor the other day and he examined my penis and said it looks fine and my symptoms sound like a yeast infection and not herpes. I even showed my mom a picture of the tip of my penis and she said it looks like irritation of some sort (probably from masturbation). My penis looks normal and you really have to stop and look around/ examine to even notice these 2 red dots (which now are fading because my doctor told me to pick up Hydrocortosine cream) I only pickedup the cream last night because I've been busy, but it seems to be doing its job.

Anyway I apologize for the very long post. I'm just looking for answers, I feel like I've read every article there is to read and there are no direct signs saying I have herpes, and it is leaning more to the yeast infection side... just looking for an opinion. Also I never experienced any fever, pain when urinating or anything, and I understand those can be common symptoms of a first outbreak.

I'm going to keep applying the Hydrocortisone cream as the doctor directed me to. Is the white cottage cheese (smegma) a symptom of herpes? I havent been able to find any article saying it is... When I first got this "infection" the cottage cheese was very noticeable and all over the place. Now it doesn't appear at all, minus the other day when I masturbated in the shower and noticed it after.

What do you guys think? Yeast or Herpes... Thank you very much. Also if it helps.. I'm 19 years old and sexually active, however after this scare I have no intentions of having unprotected sex... maybe if I ever come into another long term relationship...
