Does positive HSV2 status increase suceptibility to Chicken Pox/shingles?

Hi,
I had a VERY mild case of chicken pox as a child have had HSV2 for 19 years. My company just announced that one of our coworkers has been diagnosed with chicken pox. --Is there any reason I should be overly concerned and do I need to take any extra precautions against shingles? FWIW, I take 500mg. Valtrex (generic) daily for supression and am in otherwise excellent health. Any insight you can offer is greatly appreciated, many thanks for all you do!
