Does this sound like herpes

I had unprotected sex a few times in one night with a girl eleven days ago. A day or two later, I started itching around the my genital area. My testicles and my anus were both very itchy. I applied some powder not yet thinking about potential STD's and it helped somewhat. I started to get stressed out and worried as the week went on and this continued and by last thursday I started feeling very tired and had a very slight fever. I had sex this weekend and after sex I noticed some burning in my urethra all the way down to my anus. (No burning during urination). I have noticed no bumps or sores on my penis or testicles, and the only unusual thing about my genitals is that my balls are redder than i remember, and the head of my penis is slightly blotchy after sex (could be from having sex a few times this weekend) I talked to the girl that I had sex with and she got tested about a month ago and was clean, she is dating somebody now, but she told me they use protection. I didnt notice any visible sores on her but i wasnt looking close. She tells me that she has never had any problems or itching or burning and that she is now going to get tested.

Burning is in the urethra after sex, no burning during urination, no visible sores. Should I be concerned about herpes? What does this sound like.

Sounds like it can be prostatis. I just had a friend see his Urologist about the same symptoms as yours and thats all it was. They give you antibiotics for it IF it is that for a long time since it takes a while to cure. We are all guessing here so go see your Dr ASAP! All of these symptoms without lesions makes Herpes VERY unlikely...

I think you should see a doctor.  It might well be a fungal infection or irritation, but you need to get a doctor to make that determination.

Go sooner rather than later - the longer you wait, the harder it might be to diagnose and/or treat.

What about the burning inside my urethra around my scrotum and anus. Very painful. I said in my earlier post that it didn't hurt after urination. When I woke up this morning, I peed and it is now burning in my scrotum. Should I see somebody? Its very uncomfortable.

Thanks Slacker.

I wasn't worried about catching something this weekend, I was suggesting that the burning i was experiencing after sex could have been related to the experience a week before. Also last night it felt like my testicles were on fire and were itching like crazy. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I should do?

Not herpes... Symptoms dont' show up after sex nor a day later and nothing you have said suggests herpes... The only thing I have to say is if you THINK you have an STD, don't have sex till you get it checked out! You had sex this past weekend when you felt like you had symptoms and thats not a good thing for the other person! if you in fact did have herpes symptoms then she would be at risk...
